Bob Newstrom
Founder & Chairman
Bob's vision and leadership over our first 40 years has brought our team from its humble beginnings to where we are today!
Bob has successfully founded and co-founded multiple companies. Bob received his MBA from Gonzaga University and has held elevator licenses in several states including Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Some of Bob's industry experience includes:
- National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC) member since 1987
- Accessibility Equipment Manufacturer's Association (AEMA) member since 1998
- Past Chair of NAEC Accessibility & Residential Committee
- Past member of Minnesota Elevator Advisory Committee
- Previously held NAEC Certified Elevator Technician (CET) and Certified Accessibility and Private Residence Lift Technician (CAT) certifications
Bob has experience installing and servicing stair lifts, residential elevators, vertical platform lifts, inclined platform lifts, hybrid lifts, special purpose elevators/manlifts (SPPE), hillside elevators, casket lifts, auto lifts, ceiling track lifts, passenger elevators, LULA elevators, dumbwaiters, and material lifts.

Brian D. Nichols
Executive Vice President & Co-Founder, Arrow Lift of California
Brian D. Nichols is an accomplished leader in the accessibility and residential elevator industry with more than 30 years of experience. As Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of Arrow Lift of California, Brian has played a pivotal role in advancing safe, reliable, and innovative vertical mobility solutions for homes and commercial spaces.
Throughout his career, Brian has successfully founded and co-founded multiple companies within the elevator and accessibility sectors. He holds a C-11 Elevator Contractor’s License, a B-General Building Contractor License, and four C-Specialty Licenses in the State of California, as well as a C-7 Elevation and Conveyance License in Nevada. In addition, he is a Certified Competent Conveyance Mechanic (CCCM) in California, a Licensed Elevator Mechanic in Nevada, and a Licensed Home Improvement Salesperson in California.
Brian is an active member of the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC) and the Accessibility Equipment Manufacturers Association (AEMA), where he previously served as Chairman of the Residential Elevator and Commercial Accessibility Committee. He was among the first certified ADA consultants in California and later earned the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

Pete Newstrom
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Pete has been with our team since 2011, including pioneering our Ohio offices in Cleveland and Columbus. Pete has hands-on experience with installations, field service, and sales within the residential elevator and accessibility lift industry, as well as a background in management and finance. Pete has installed, maintained, and repaired stair lifts, home elevators, vertical platform lifts (both residential and commercial), inclined platform lifts, and LULA elevators.
Before joining Arrow Lift, Pete served as an officer in the United States Air Force, and he received his MBA in Finance from Case Western Reserve University.

Andy Newstrom
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Andy has been with Arrow Lift for over 20 years. Under Andy's guidance, Arrow Lift has developed one of the fastest growing sales teams in the home elevator and accessibility lift industry.
Andy has led Arrow Lift sales teams ranking in the top 5 nationally for multiple manufacturers including National Wheel-o-vator, Symmetry Elevating Solutions, Stannah Stairlifts, and more.
Some of Andy's industry experience includes:
- Managed Arrow Lift Sales for over 10 years
- President of Arrow Lift's Midwest Market for 6 years before becoming COO
- Member of various industry dealer advisory committees
- Past member of 50+ Housing Committee for Builders Association of the Twin Cities
- Personal experience in the sales of stair lifts, home elevators, vertical platform lifts, inclined platform lifts, ceiling track lifts, material lifts, and more.
Outside of Arrow Lift, Andy enjoys volunteering as a coach for youth baseball and basketball teams.

Joe Newstrom, PE
Chief Engineer
Joe first began working with Arrow Lift while still in high school as an intern and a laborer, before joining the team full time in 2004. During his tenure, Joe has worked as an elevator installer, field superintendent, project manager, service technician, service manager, operations manager, and design engineer. He's also worked in IT and software development with a focus on systems for the home elevator and accessibility lift industry. Beyond Arrow Lift, Joe also contributed to the product launch of Symmetry Elevating Solutions and Bella Elevator as consulting liaison engineer, and he has directed state level ASME Code Compliance approvals for multiple models of home elevators (conventional and shaftless), vertical platform lifts, and LU/LA Elevators.
