Stair Lift Types
Arrow Lift offers five types of stair lifts—each a convenient, construction-free, and customizable option, depending on your unique circumstances. All stair lift types have a chair that folds out of the way when not in use and high-capacity batteries so you aren't left without a lift in the case of a power failure.
Visit our Ontario showroom and take advantage of our no-strings-attached in-home consultation. Our team of Stair Lift Experts can help you choose the right option for your home.
Straight stair lifts consist of a straight rail for homes with consecutive flights of stairs. They can be customized to fit nearly any number of steps. To increase accessibility, straight stair lifts can also be upgraded with powered swivel seats, higher-weight capacities, and powered footrests.
Curved stair lifts have a custom-built rail that fits directly onto the staircase and can navigate landings and corners. One of the key benefits of a curved stair lift is the ability to extend the rail, allowing you to turn and park the chair out of the stairwell at either the top or lower landing.
Reconditioned stair lifts are a cost-effective alternative to new stair lifts. Lightly used and fully refurbished, these units are typically straight rail stair lifts that offer the safety and convenience of new stair lifts and are available in a variety of options.
Outdoor stair lifts function much like indoor units but are specially designed to be weather-resistant. They are available in both straight and curved configurations and can be customized to fit nearly any staircase length.
Commercial stair lifts provide safe transport between floors in public spaces. While they do not offer wheelchair accessibility and are, therefore, not ADA-compliant, they are a secure and reliable accessibility solution for users with limited mobility.
