In 2025, Arrow Lift celebrated our 40 year anniversary! Over the decades, we’ve grown from our roots in northern Minnesota, to now servicing 10 states and the surrounding areas. We’re taking this opportunity to look back on some of the unique and memorable projects that we completed over the past 40 years. And we’re looking forward to many more!
To celebrate our first 40 years, here are 40 of our favorite projects:
We helped make US Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings, more accessible with the installation of five vertical platform lifts.
We outfitted a retail store within the Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) Airport with a stainless steel vertical wheelchair lift with glass doors.
This project involved a beautiful pneumatic vacuum elevator in a converted barn in Iowa.
We handled the installation of a commercial dumbwaiter for the Chanel boutique on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
This beautiful home elevator in Southern California features a full-length mirror on the back wall, which really extends the space in this modern-looking home.
We partnered with the University of Minnesota to install a LULA elevator and 2 vertical platform lifts at the Northrop Auditorium on campus.
We installed a material lift at the Duluth Trading Company facility in Duluth, MN. Fun fact: we were “from Duluth” first! But we still love Duluth Trading!
Speaking of Duluth, we helped make the historic NorShor Theatre in downtown Duluth accessible with a vertical platform lift.
Severance Hall is where the Cleveland Orchestra (called “America’s most brilliant orchestra” by the New York Times) plays. We handled the installation of a hybrid lift “backstage” a few years ago to help performers with mobility challenges reach a performing stage.
Vertical Platform Lifts like this one are common accessibility solutions for restaurants, brew pubs, and other eateries that have a split level.
A LULA lift, like this one with a stainless steel car, is a great choice for schools, and we’ve installed many lifts for schools in our 40 years.
This beautiful vacuum elevator adds grandeur to this elegant home in Ohio.
We’ve installed 4 accessibility lifts at the Mansfield Reformatory, the famous former prison where the movie The Shawshank Redemption was filmed.
We helped streamline work at the first US location of Launch Pad Golf with a dumbwaiter.
We appreciated partnering with Crunch Fitness to help them make their Urbandale, Iowa location accessible, by installing a vertical platform lift.
We outfitted the iconic Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Minnesota with a LULA elevator and a dumbwaiter.
We’ve installed many accessibility lifts at sporting venues, such as the LULA lift we installed for the St. Michael-Albertville Ice Arena.
When the Van Gorder Manor in Willoughby, Ohio was being renovated to become an inn and restaurant, our team installed their LULA elevator. LULA elevators can be a great accessibility solution for historical restorations because of their customizability and their small footprint compared to full-size passenger elevators.
We completed the installation of a vertical platform lift at the downtown Macy’s department store in San Francisco.
We delivered and installed a home elevator in a mansion designed by acclaimed architect Cass Gilbert on Summit Avenue in St. Paul (which is known for its many historic Victorian homes).
A cozy log cabin that now includes a curved stair lift.
Our project at Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins included the installation of 2 platform lifts.
We helped make Mont du Lac resort in Superior, Wisconsin accessible by installing 2 elevators. This location has a special place in our memories, as we held a retirement party for one of our longest time employees at this resort to honor his 29 years of service.
We love this picture of an outdoor stair lift our team installed! It shows how a stair lift can help you continue your favorite lakeside activities.
We worked with the owner of this elegant home off the Pacific Coast Highway in Southern California to install this home elevator, which adds a touch of luxury.
We completed the installation of a vertical platform lift at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.
We helped enhance convenience and accessibility with this residential elevator in a Los Angeles home. The mirror panels in the elevator complement the home’s abundant natural light.
The St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Duluth now features a LULA elevator with a one-of-a-kind wood engraving that replicates the beautiful stained glass window in the back of the church.
Health clinics are probably not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of dumbwaiters, but they can be a convenient and practical solution for transporting medications and supplies between floors. We completed the installation of a dumbwaiter at this clinic in Iowa.
A project at the US Forest Service’s Seaplane Base in Ely, Minnesota, in the far northern part of the state, involved the installation of a vertical platform lift.
We worked with the Blue Wave Inn in Ashland, Wisconsin to install a LULA elevator.
Many years ago, we completed the installation of a vertical platform lift at the Fitger’s Complex, a former brewery turned boutique shopping center along Duluth’s scenic “Lakewalk.”
It might surprise you to learn that Arrow Lift has installed lifts and specialty elevators on islands in several states! One example is a LULA elevator we delivered and installed at the Public Library on Madeline Island on Lake Superior.
We completed a project at the Guthrie Theater performing arts venue in Minneapolis involving a vertical platform lift.
A luxury elevator we provided for a beautiful home in California.
We outfitted the Greater Columbus Convention Center with a vertical platform lift.
A residential elevator we supplied for a home in Green Bay decked out from top to bottom in Green Bay Packers memorabilia, affectionately known as the “Packer House.”
We installed this vertical platform lift at the Sons of Norway center in Minneapolis. Fun fact: we’ve also installed lifts for German, Hispanic, African American, and Jewish cultural centers, too!
We delivered and installed a LULA elevator at the Brainerd International Raceway in Minnesota.
Our client saw a different glass elevator we had installed and asked for the same thing! We love the way this residential elevator adds to the home’s aesthetic.
Thank you for joining us on this trip down memory lane! We’re so grateful for the Team Members, customers, and partners who’ve been part of our first 40 years. We’re looking forward to many more!
